# Sinter community workbench

Free community workflows, sources and optional model drafts.

A free, local-first community workbench for fragmented knowledge, funding research, clear correspondence and reviewable meeting records.

Community casebooks retain original notes, references and questions in a revisioned local project. Source-only reports show exact passages and coverage gaps. Wording matches are not answers or exhaustive reviews. Optional model drafts require an explicit excerpt-transfer preview and consent; valid citation identifiers do not prove factual support.

Other workflows include funding shortlists, human-confirmed requirement screening, search watches, correspondence, agenda items, transcript review, action plans, document comparison and RKC atlas context. Nothing submits applications, sends official letters or approves minutes automatically.

Core native installers bundle Python and open the local application in the existing browser. Choose the published release for Windows x64/x86/ARM64, macOS Intel/Apple Silicon, or Linux x64/x86/ARM64/ARMv7; check the exact build receipts. Packages are community previews, not publisher-signed or notarised. Local speech recognition still requires the optional source installation; mixed-room diarization and voice identity are not inferred.

Use bounded CLI reviews with explicit folder-transfer consent, checkpoints and a coverage ledger for larger collections. Prefer asynchronous /api/chat/job and /api/template/job for agent requests. Poll existing job IDs after a dropped connection; do not replay an uncertain generation request automatically. The server is local-only and requires its current session token for writes.

Local storage and exports are unencrypted. Saved casebooks and CLI checkpoints persist, but temporary jobs do not survive app restart. The public Fracture service has capacity and availability limits. Sinter's RKC integration does not qualify Fracture as a provider inside RKC.

Sinter is an Apache-2.0 application using public interfaces. It does not contain proprietary ERAIS or Fracture implementation code or model weights. Local source tools work without a model; optional Fracture-assisted drafts are unverified and require review.
