# Actual font bodies and print embedding

The native reproduction assets include unchanged original ReportLab-distributed Bitstream Vera regular (`Vera.ttf`) and bold (`VeraBd.ttf`) files. Full Bitstream copyright/trademark/permission/FAQ travels as BITSTREAM-VERA-LICENSE.txt. These files are not licensed by the original educational CC or native code Apache grants. Source byte pins and complete dependency versions are in DEPENDENCIES.json.

Only these two original font designs are selected for native printable text. Printed PDFs embed renderer-produced font subsets and Unicode maps; embedded subset bytes differ from the full original source font. Actual resources/streams are verified separately. Source SVG and HTML readers retain their local system-font behaviour; the original source does not inherit a native PDF embedding claim.

No font glyph designs were edited. PDF subsetting is distinguished from distributing the complete original source file. The full licence and its notices, name/derivative restrictions, standalone sale restriction and disclaimers remain applicable. Font presence does not prove physical print quality, individual access or a classroom outcome. No Arev or GPL-PDF-font exception is claimed.
