# 03 · Window watcher

**Ten minutes · outdoor noticing.** **You need:** A safe window view, balcony
view with an adult, or a sheltered outdoor spot. Paper and a crayon are
optional. Do not lean out or climb for a view.

**Play:** Look together for one thing that moves and one thing that stays.
It may be a cloud, branch, vehicle, shadow or something the child spots.
Choose one to draw, describe, act out or simply watch.

**Adult says:** “What caught your eye?” “Did it change while we watched?”
“What would you like to look for next time?” Do not turn every sight into a
fact lesson.

**Child chooses:** The view, what to notice, and how to share it. “I don't
see anything” is a useful starting point, not a wrong answer.

**Notice:** What did they return to or ask about? Did they compare two
moments in their own way?

**Access and safety:** For low vision, describe the scene together or listen
and feel safe air movement from an open but secured window. A seated view is
enough. Avoid staring at the sun. No screen is needed; a locally stored photo
of the view is an optional memory aid.
