# A calmer start to your Prep week

Choose the learning, get the few things you need, and leave room to change the plan.

This is an original planning companion for Queensland Prep, with one short, factual calendar activity. It helps you use the growing Foundation library. The complete annual curriculum review is still underway, and some later subject banks are still being built.

## Choose your start

- **Planning a class:** open the [teacher guide](TEACHER.md), then make a copy of the [blank week plan](WEEK-PLAN.csv).
- **Trying something at home:** open [A little reminder for a real week](FAMILY.md). Paper and a few large everyday objects are enough.
- **Fitting the library to 2027:** use the [40 resource-week calendar](QLD-2027-RESOURCE-WEEKS.csv). Resource numbers stay in sequence even when a two-week bank crosses a school holiday.
- **Updating the factual example:** use the [editable local card](LOCAL-CALENDAR-EXAMPLE.json), its [readable copy](LOCAL-CALENDAR-EXAMPLE.md), and the existing [local-card desk](https://neuroforge.io/subjectnest/library/resources/teacher-support/local-examples/card-desk). Download the JSON, open the desk and choose “Reopen a saved card”.
- **Making your own reminder:** print the [empty reminder page](blank-reminder.svg), or use ordinary paper. Its complete alternative is in the family guide.

The calendar card is an adult planning draft. Its public source and arithmetic were checked on 14 October 2026; it does not claim a human educator review or confirm your school's arrangements. Open the source again before using or changing it.

Choose one subject, week and route. The numbered starts are choices to use, revisit or replace; you do not need to run every optional activity. Open the preparation, source and access notes before the learner's task. Public examples and teacher answers are useful teaching resources, so do not assume a public check is unseen.
