# Exact text and tactile alternatives · eight original sheets

A–F are practice aids; G/H are unseen public checks until their day. Every visible label is repeated below, with the geometry explained. Colour does not carry meaning. Use large cards; avoid small loose parts where unsuitable.

## A · Place mat

**Exact diagram description:** Horizontal tabletop line with large circles L left, H home centre, R right. These are reference marks, not floor directions.

## B · Near/far mat

**Exact diagram description:** Vertical tabletop line with F at far edge, H centre and N at near edge; all positions are labels from the child’s table orientation.

**Tactile route:** Lay one string from the near to far edge of a table. Put raised N near, H centre, F far; child or neutral adult moves one large token.

**Tactile route:** Make two tactile rows of three broad numbered position cards: 1H 2R 3H and 1H 2R 3R. Put a raised HOLD marker under the second row’s count 3.

## D · Time choice

## F · Choice/share card

**Exact diagram description:** Worked original H R H paper score with a possible right-picture meaning and paper-puppet audience. Four blank child-owned prompts follow.

**Tactile route:** Use four large raised prompt cards: MY SCORE, MY IDEA, MY AUDIENCE OR LATER, WHO MADE THE REAL WORK. A neutral scribe records the child’s choice.

## G · New paper window

**Exact diagram description:** New three-card score H N N. The fictional purpose is near picture then far window. Blank lines ask for one changed place, its count and a possible paper-visitor reading.

Optional sound has three identical clicks, 0.8 seconds apart. Exact no-audio route: adult or child points to large raised cards 1, 2, 3 at equal intervals; silent counting or AAC is welcome.
