# Foundation / Prep Dance · Weeks 7–8

## Two moves, a pause, a little show

**Days 31–40 · ten 25-minute sessions · teacher draft.** Choose two comfortable movement ideas. Give each a mark. Make a tiny phrase, repeat it if you want, and choose how it finishes. Your dance might welcome a paper puppet, introduce your picture or simply be something you enjoy making.

This extends [Weeks 5–6's scale and relative position choices](../weeks-05-06/README.md) with phrase order, a whole repeated unit and a deliberate ending. An educator can offer a child-chosen, locally approved physical movement route in each ordinary making lesson. Small seated or stationary movement can be a real performance when it is chosen and actually observed. A paper score, object/puppet movement or directing an adult supports composition and communication; it does not prove the child's physical dance skill. Children may make choices without performing or sharing.

The [original supplied score and its purpose](SUPPLIED-WORK.md) are clearly labelled a computer-created teaching model. It is not a filmed dancer, human performance or community tradition. [Fresh Checks M/N](ASSESSMENT.md) and the [separate educator key](TEACHER-KEY.md) support next teaching decisions. A full year still needs varied actual art encounters, making and willing-audience opportunities.

### Print and practise

Eight original A4 SVG/PDF aids have [exact text and diagram alternatives](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md): two-move key, repeat unit, deliberate ending, maker plan, response note, supplied work/source, fresh M and fresh N. The [offline phrase planner](interactive/phrase-planner.html) lets a child compare fixed original score choices without a screen performance, audio, camera, stored answers or uploads. National/Queensland mapping is proposed and partial. Other state implementation and actual local delivery remain to be reviewed.
