# Foundation / Queensland Prep Design and Technologies · Term 1 Weeks 3–4

This second original fortnight continues [Weeks 1–2](../weeks-01-02/README.md) with a **new school-approved paper page-turn aid** brief. Week 3 explores how people design familiar page products, help-service steps and table layouts; children generate and choose ideas for a broad paper tab. Week 4 offers safe adult-approved making, page-turn trials and revision, then a fresh stop-gate transfer check. It complements the [Foundation Week 3 people/help](../../../term-1/week-03-people-and-help.md) and [Week 4 roll/slide/stop](../../../term-1/week-04-roll-slide-stop.md) inquiries without claiming their HASS, HPE or Science outcomes from these Design lessons.

**Evidence rule:** A proposed fold, adult model, paper drawing or written “it worked” is not an observed child material result. Actual fold/turn/slide trials occur only under school approval with broad adult-prepared paper, a clear tabletop and an opt-in child. Record **TURNED / SLIPPED / NOT TRIED** or **STOPPED / CROSSED / NOT TRIED** only after the relevant safe action, together with who handled the material. School-approved real familiar products, services or environments go in the blank source slot; fictional cards alone cannot prove local familiarity. No real learner, family or community data is requested.
