# Foundation / Queensland Prep Design and Technologies · Term 1 Weeks 7–8

This fourth original fortnight continues [Weeks 1–2](../weeks-01-02/README.md), [Weeks 3–4](../weeks-03-04/README.md) and [Weeks 5–6](../weeks-05-06/README.md) with a different problem: a **large broad-paper tabletop cue stand** that helps a pretend maker see two actions in order. Week 7 considers who designs a sign or cue, compares two layouts, and plans a safe fold. Week 8 offers an optional real supervised fold/stand/readability trial, a revision, and a transfer to a two-part repeating graphic cue. Home ideas need no printer, purchases, cutting, recording or family disclosure.

**Observation gate:** A printed stand, layout or success option is a proposal. It does not prove that a child folded broad paper, that it stood upright, that another person read it or that a repeated unit was understood. Adults check and prepare school-approved full-size paper; children can fold a broad edge if safe and willing, direct an adult, or remain on a plan-only route. Record who actually acted and **UPRIGHT / FLAT / NOT TRIED** only from an approved real tabletop trial. Readability is a separate observed response; do not infer it from uprightness. Real familiar signs/products enter only through a school-approved blank source slot. This is not an official safety sign or a protective-behaviour lesson.
