# Twenty worked life-domain context swaps

Use either optional fictional example for the day's same design target. Each gives a worked *reason*, not a claimed child response or material result. Day 45/50 swaps are **after first check responses** and do not reveal their held names or values. No official safety signs, local cultural designs, private child information or fixed learning-style labels are supplied.

| Day | Worked swap 1 | Worked swap 2 |
| ---: | --- | --- |
| 41 | **Imaginary garden desk:** A drawn seed packet is marked PRETEND; an empty OBSERVED slot waits for a real, approved plant observation. A large source label is a person's design choice. | **Puppet travel board:** A made-up map and a blank VISIT slot need different labels; the boundary helps the pretend visitor know which was invented. No visit occurred. |
| 42 | **Fictional bakery table:** A wide imaginary counter might fit two zones side by side; the baker would still need both source labels. | **Toy train shelf:** A narrow pretend shelf may favour zones above/below; space is a reason for a first choice, not proof of reader success. |
| 43 | **Drawing studio:** Compare a thick central divider with two broad outlined boxes for invented sketches versus blank live-observation notes; choose one to make source identity visible. | **Model museum:** Put source labels as big headers in one idea and at the start of each card in another; ask which helps a viewer find origin, not which looks prettier. |
| 44 | **Book corner mock-up:** Adult checks a large sheet and clear table; child plans label, place, inspect. A paper plan remains NOT TRIED. | **Pretend repair desk:** If the surface is crowded or the child wants no touch, stop a physical setup and describe the four safe steps instead. |
| 45 | **After-check music board:** A drawn rhythm and an empty LISTENER SAID space should be kept separate; two broad layouts could help the source difference. | **After-check weather poster:** A pretend cloud sketch and a blank DATED LOOK space need labels; no weather observation is supplied. |
| 46 | **Puppet library:** Choose a wide approved page; ask whether a broad label stays visible when one large card is placed. Do not assume it will. | **Maker club picture:** An adult-described stiff sheet may be a sensible candidate; record that the child heard a description and still needs an actual placement check. |
| 47 | **Pretend art archive:** If a school-approved placement happens, record whether a large card stayed in its zone; do not reuse a result from another table. | **Toy shop catalogue:** Child directs an adult's card placement; credit design direction but record adult physical handling and viewer unknown if nobody checked. |
| 48 | **Classroom exhibition:** Hypothetically, a card that crossed a line could motivate a wider zone; this change needs another check before success is claimed. | **Story table:** If a viewer actually pointed to the wrong zone, try a larger source header; that is a proposal until another real viewer responds. |
| 49 | **Nature-picture display:** An invented picture may be described as invented; an empty field cannot be presented as an actual specimen record. | **Game score mock-up:** A pretend result card and a blank REAL ROUND field can be explained privately; no child name, real score or player response is required. |
| 50 | **After-check craft record:** A made-up BEFORE/TRY/NEXT design can be planned with three broad zones; the TRY slot remains blank without a real event. | **After-check puppet bridge:** A pretend build idea and unknown trial can be separated on paper; a beautiful diagram alone does not establish a successful bridge. |
