# Foundation Drama / Queensland Prep · opening fortnight

Ten original **25-minute** starts for making tiny fictional scenes through setting, role, action, attention, turn order and sequence. Children may opt into suitable enactment, direct large paper figures, draw a scene or use AAC/neutral scribing. No child has to speak in role, disclose a life event, touch someone, perform in public, be filmed or accept another child's interpretation of their feelings. Every role and setting in these pages is invented; no story, character, song or cultural style is borrowed.

Six original [A4 scene aids with exact text/tactile routes](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md) and two check sheets come as SVG/PDF; there is no device or audio requirement.

The common early target is **an intentional scene choice and reason**. A paper scene, puppet rehearsal or directed adult may show devising, but **paper alone does not demonstrate enacted role, voice, movement or actual social participation**. If a child shares an enacted mini-scene with a willing person, the educator records that event separately from showing a plan. A pass and a paper route remain valid ways to participate in these opening reasoning activities. An educator checks local space, consent, emotional safety and access before any enactment.
