# Foundation / Prep English · Weeks 29–30 · Days 141–150

**Teacher draft, 29 September 2026.** This fortnight has [ten timed 25-minute lessons](LESSONS.md), [four original adult-read sources and print boundaries](MATERIALS.md), [thirty clean learner choices](LEARNER-CARDS.md), [ten optional short follow-ups](OPTIONAL-PRACTICE.md), [two fresh teacher-held checks](ASSESSMENT.md) with a [separate key and response moves](TEACHER-KEY.md), two original A4 [beat/message](beat-pause-message.svg) and [before/change/because](before-change-because.svg) aids with PDFs and exact text/tactile routes, and an optional [original quiet beat audio cue](two-taps-rest.wav). Week 29 asks how a poem's heard pattern and a picture communicate; Week 30 uses an original design account to explain a change from evidence. [Week 29](../../../term-3/week-29-rhythm-picture-message.md) and [Week 30](../../../term-3/week-30-a-stronger-design.md) supply five integrated 35-minute blocks each.

**Run it:** Read each day's original source aloud and offer book, maker and paper-stage choices. Provide oral/AAC/sign/large-print/tactile modes to all; choose an individual route with the child. The written child lines contain only a deliberately narrow familiar pool and are **not** a national phonics sequence. Check the school's actual taught grapheme–sound links first. Adult-read rich text supports comprehension but is never claimed as independent decoding. Day 145/150 stimuli and keys stay private until administration; save first response and adult prompt separately. A pass for sound, touch or public sharing is respected.
