# Foundation / Prep English · Weeks 33–34 · Days 161–170

**Teacher draft, 29 September 2026.** Week 33 turns carefully described features of two **fictional drawings** into a short information page. Week 34 compares two explanations of a **fictional paper-roof test** and asks what the evidence can actually support. A school can substitute safe, first-hand local observations, but the pack never labels its drawings as local species or its fictional test as a result in your room.

**Run it in five minutes:** Read that day's source first. Lay out two broad observation cards or the paper roof source, one thick pen and the appropriate A4 mat. Give the child a choice of a quiet point, sign, AAC, speech, drawing, large-print writing or child-directed adult scribing. If a real school observation is used, check site/child safety and observe from an approved place without picking, touching, identifying a species or collecting personal data. Record what was actually seen. Child print is only shown at the individually taught grapheme–sound point; adult reads every rich source word. Save first independent answers, prompts and revisions separately.
