# Optional family/carer routes · no disclosure required

These are brief **invitations**, not homework prerequisites or evidence of family participation. A family can decline silently. A teacher does not ask a child to justify a decline, bring a photo, name an address, report Country/Place knowledge or explain family structure. The fictional cards in this pack remain a full participation route. Any real story a family elects to share uses the school's private communication and [local-source process](LOCAL-SOURCE-INSERT.md), not this public repository.

These activities need only paper or oral storytelling. Do not purchase materials, photograph a real place, upload child work, or conduct an unapproved interview. A school may separately invite authentic family/community participation for K01/K02, with consent, review and no penalty for opting out; this pack does not pretend to complete those descriptions.
