# Fictional source set and preparation

## Page Nook Album archive

Every person, relationship and place in A–E is **invented**. The places Darwin, Adelaide and Cairns are real Australian city names used in a fictional statement; no real child's birthplace or migration reason is supplied. Read the exact words. Do not generalise this one story into how every family is arranged.

- **A · made-up family album page:** **Jules and Emi are cousins. Pat is their aunt. Pat was born in Darwin and grew up in Adelaide. Jules was born in Cairns and is growing up in an unnamed town. Emi's birthplace and growing-up place are not stated.** The [A4 page](print/page-nook-album.pdf) gives three anonymous person icons and separate statements. It does not name any real family or explain why anyone moved.
- **B · Jules's own fictional note:** “I like our made-up Page Nook. Pat showed us how to fold a paper book. Emi chose the cover. I was born in Cairns. We tell stories together there.” It adds Jules's individual view and details, not Emi's feelings, nor the unnamed town's identity. [A4 note](print/jules-note.pdf).
- **C · Page Nook drawing:** an actual shaped **BOOK SHELF at LEFT**, **OVAL RUG at CENTRE**, and **LOW TABLE at RIGHT**. The [A4 place sketch](print/page-nook-sketch.pdf) is a paper model, not an observation of a real place.
- **D · Jules's place view:** “This nook is special to me because I hear stories on the oval rug.” Jules speaks only for Jules.
- **E · Emi's place view:** “I would rather look at a large picture book at the low table.” A wish is not a completed change or proof of a particular access need. [A4 views](print/page-nook-views.pdf).

## Family Connections play kit · blank original aids

Two added broad original aids work with P or school-approved R. Neither includes a supplied actual family fact:

- [Family link play mat](print/family-link-play-mat.pdf): two anonymous empty person circles, a removable connection line/word space, source cue and tell/close/pretend choice. The child chooses whom/what to represent; no family structure is pre-drawn. Loose circles/objects or oral pairs replace the page.
- [Born/grew-up story mat](print/born-grew-up-story-mat.pdf): BORN and GREW UP boxes linked in time, blank place cues and a three-part PERSON / CONNECTION / SOURCE SAYS strip. Arrow means time order, not that a move occurred or one place matters more. No required dates/addresses/handwriting. One field can be used now and the other later.

A–E remain exact supplied fiction. **R sources are not supplied or pre-filled:** prepare one privately authorised ordinary account/source with actual account date, permission/audience, exact or confirmed words, correction scope and child choice under [ACTUAL-SOURCE-PATHWAY.md](ACTUAL-SOURCE-PATHWAY.md). No public personal record, photo, new interview or upload is required. Keep actual sources outside A–E; no model/fresh-source facts fill actual blanks.

## Prepare once, play in small steps

Read one relevant source sentence at a time. Use pre-made flat mats, large circles/objects, removable line, broad place cues and an opaque cover/envelope. Adult may move/write only as child directs; speech/sign/AAC/no-touch routes are equal. Use a simple unrelated fictional demonstration before a new source. Sample a few learners under an actual supervision/private-space plan; when R privacy/staffing/source/choice is unavailable, run P and arrange another sitting. One connection or one place box is a useful outcome; no speed or neatness score.

Teacher keeps one minimal local source/permission note across the five ordinary branches and one first child decision/support at a time. Unknown/not supplied/private/unobserved are distinct adult decisions. The child can simply say “leave it” or close a field. No real family, child, place, permission or response is recorded in this repository. K02/K04 remain held; any other authentic/cultural source follows [local gate](LOCAL-SOURCE-INSERT.md).

Days 65/70 retain their new fictional source words and illustrations unchanged. Collect first responses before the public key, reading one relevant section/question at a time without answer cues. Unfinished portions remain not yet observed and may continue at a later sitting with extra time/help recorded honestly. Actual family material cannot coach the fresh case or certify actual K01 from a check.
