# Exact invented sources and preparation

Print/display the [eight A4 aids](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md), or read their exact linear/tactile/no-print equivalents. Prepare large SOME / ALL / NOT TOLD cards, speaker tokens and a blank respectful-question card. No family item, photo, recording, local map, visitor interview or purchase is needed. All names, dates, drawings, choices and words below are invented and cannot evidence a real family-shared significant event.

- **A · Paper Room notice, dated Thursday in the fictional story:** “Our pretend Paper Room opened a new reading window on Thursday. On Friday, some visitors made paper strips to remember the opening. This notice does not list every visitor or say why each person did or did not join.” Its [picture](print/paper-window-notice.pdf) shows one large window and three paper strips, not a photo. The reading-window opening and later marking are stated, but no universal participation or personal significance follows.
- **B · Alba's personal note:** “I made a paper strip because the new window matters to me. I like to read beside the light.” This [individual voice](print/alba-voice.pdf) reports Alba's own reason and action. It does not state why anyone else made or skipped a strip.
- **C · Jun's personal note:** “I visited on Saturday and read beside the window. I did not make a paper strip. I have not said why I skipped it.” This [individual voice](print/jun-voice.pdf) records a choice and explicitly leaves its reason unknown. Do not infer that Jun disliked the opening, lacked care, could not participate or had a particular feeling.
- **D · four question cards:** “Did you make a strip?” and “Would you like to tell me what the opening meant to you? You may pass.” are answerable without presuming celebration. “Why did everyone celebrate?” assumes all did. “You did not make a strip, so you did not care?” assumes an unreported motive. These [question cards](print/respectful-question-cards.pdf) are for comparing wording, not for interrogating a real child.

Use the [some/not-all mat](print/some-not-all-mat.pdf) to mark who is explicitly included and what is absent. Use the [two-voice account mat](print/two-voice-account-mat.pdf) to hold Alba, Jun, source fact and unknown apart. A child may choose a third-person question rather than roleplay. An adult can read or scribe exact wording, but should not provide conclusions during [fresh checks](STUDENT-CHECKS.md). If a real concern or disclosure arises, stop the group exercise and follow local safeguarding policy; do not promise secrecy or ask a child to retell publicly.
