# Two fresh public HASS checks · learner copy

Read each invented source neutrally, one short prompt part at a time, or use the [exact linear/tactile alternative](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md). Point, speak, sign, AAC, make/direct broad models or dictate. Blank bases/source folders have no worked headings. Keep first child-controlled answers and exact help before feedback. These are **not secure exams** or actual-place/K03 tests. No personal place, history, culture, identity or reason for a pass is required.

## Check A · Day 145 · Moss Room

Use the new [A4 Moss sources](print/check-a-moss-room.pdf). All people, room and moves are invented.

**Source 1 · earlier picture map:** “Moss Room: circle cushion on the left; rectangle table on the right; diamond box beside the cushion. This is the earlier picture map.” Key: circle = cushion; rectangle = table; diamond = box.

**Source 2 · keeper Fenn's note:** “Later I moved the box beside the table. I did not record why.”

**Source 3 · undated picture copy:** “Moss Room: circle cushion on the left; rectangle table on the right; diamond box beside the cushion. Time not recorded.” Its maker/time are unknown.

**Source 4 · Zia's note:** “After the move, I found the box beside the table. I like laying out my paper cards there.”

1. Show the box's place in the earlier picture. Show its source. Does a picture tell what is in a real room today?
2. Where does Fenn say the box went later? Build or show the two time windows. Do we know why Fenn moved it?
3. Does the undated copy have to be wrong? Where would you keep it? Ask one question about its time.
4. Whose reason is in Source 4? Tell the small earlier/later story with sources. Does that reason tell what everyone likes or why Fenn moved the box?

These sources supply no real room observation or physical move.

## Check B · Day 150 · Harbour Room

Use the new [A4 Harbour sources](print/check-b-harbour-room.pdf). All people, place and changes are fictional.

**Source 1 · earlier picture map:** “Harbour Room: rectangle shelf on the left; oval mat on the right; pentagon tub beside the mat. This is the earlier picture map.” Key: rectangle = shelf; oval = mat; pentagon = tub.

**Source 2 · keeper Faye's note:** “Later I moved the tub beside the shelf. I have not said why.”

**Source 3 · undated picture copy:** “Harbour Room: rectangle shelf on the left; oval mat on the right; pentagon tub beside the mat. Time not recorded.” Its maker/time are unknown.

**Source 4 · Rafi's note:** “After the move, I found the tub beside the shelf. I like putting my pretend leaf cards there.”

**Source 5 · helper's proposal:** “I plan a new map with the tub beside the shelf, using the keeper’s and Rafi’s notes.”

1. Show the earlier tub place and the later reported place. Which source helps with each? Keep the undated copy separate unless its time is known.
2. What does Rafi say matters to Rafi? Does that tell why Faye moved the tub or what every user prefers?
3. Make or show a planned new picture map from Source 5. What is planned, and what did you actually make? Does this task show a real room was changed?
4. Tell the small source story using earlier/later/undated. Ask one question about a missing time or reason. What future source could help, if approved?

No source is a real interview, actual care action, safety/access audit or child outcome.
