# Ten ready-to-teach shared-place display sessions

Each session is 25 minutes: 3 + 4 + 5 + 7 + 4 + 2. Pre-make broad cards/bases/logbook folds; flat panels or adult construction are equal routes. Read [materials](MATERIALS.md), [access choices](LEARNER-CARDS.md) and [full actual preflight/handoffs](ACTUAL-SOURCE-PATHWAY.md). Choose **P** (complete paper project) or **R** (approved actual place/source) for non-check days, never filling real records with fiction. The place feature, particular-person meaning and locally sourced care stay central; layout trials are tools for HASS source inquiry, not Design/Media Arts, fairness or access proof. Speech/sign/AAC/point/gaze/dictation/no-touch reading/adult placement accepted. Capture first response/source/exact help before feedback. No actual event/approval/reader response pre-filled. Keep fresh cases held until Days 175/180; public resources aren't secure exams.

## Week 35 · Day 171 · Build a place-feature display kit

**Target/codes:** Ask about and pictorially record source-backed familiar-place features; AC9HSFS01, AC9HSFS02 and AC9HSFS04 partial. **Actual route/codes:** AC9HSFK03 conditional actual familiarity/belonging and features. **Ready:** P: A, broad board/table base and two feature-page cards; R: approved familiar place/view/source and blank local record.

**Child product:** Source-labelled place model/two feature pages and one missing-view question.

1. **Open · 3 min.** P: “Let's make a pretend place kit.” R: confirm approved view/private connection: “What do you know this place for?” Record connection/pass; visit alone isn't belonging.
2. **Read source · 4 min.** P: read A exactly. R: observe/hear exact approved description; record actual time/view/method/source. Ask “What parts can we show? What could we not see?”
3. **Model · 5 min.** P: place board left/table right and attach A tab. R: demonstrate source tab on blank feature page without giving child's answer; no real property moved.
4. **Child inquiry · 7 min.** Child makes/directs place model and two feature pages from P or approved R source; add one feature/source question. P: label FICTION. R: record direct/described view and help; one genuine feature is enough if second unavailable, gap explicit. Prompt “Which source helps you say that?”
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** If model becomes whole real site or universal need, return to source/view limit. Preserve first feature explanation and help.
6. **Exit · 2 min.** Keep source pages. **Next move:** add a particular person's reason for valuing the feature/place.

## Week 35 · Day 172 · Give each place reason a source

**Target/codes:** Question, record and share attributed place meaning; AC9HSFS01, AC9HSFS02, AC9HSFS03, AC9HSFS04 and AC9HSFS05 partial. **Actual route/codes:** AC9HSFK03 conditional actual particular-person significance. **Ready:** P: C1/C2, named flaps; R: willing adult/approved exact account with permission, second optional.

**Child product:** Feature/reason/source flap and an other-person question; no forced own disclosure.

1. **Open · 3 min.** Ask “Who can tell their own reason?” P: paper listener valid. R: confirm private audience/source permission; no positive answer required.
2. **Read source · 4 min.** P: read C1/C2 exactly. R: ask/read “What matters to you here? Why?” Record exact words/time/source ID/correction/permission; decline stays open.
3. **Model · 5 min.** P: start EDDA SAYS/FINN SAYS beside respective feature, others open. R: show source-ID reason tab without inventing belonging or needs.
4. **Child inquiry · 7 min.** Child makes/directs reason flap linked to source-backed feature, attributes a short place account and asks whom else could be heard. P: own reasons stay separate. R: one genuine account can suffice; second optional, missing significance open. Use genuine earlier/today terms only.
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** If one person's reason becomes everyone/identity/cause, return to exact words. Preserve first attribution/help; generic unrelated account doesn't fill actual significance.
6. **Exit · 2 min.** Save source/meaning flap. **Next move:** ask who gives the real place's care step and permission.

## Week 35 · Day 173 · Make an ask-first and return flap

**Target/codes:** Source and record a local care explanation, separating request/permission/action; AC9HSFS01, AC9HSFS02 and AC9HSFS04 partial. **Actual route/codes:** AC9HSFK03 conditional actual how-place-looked-after explanation. **Ready:** P: D, broad folder/ASK FIRST flap; R: actual procedure/responsible owner/date and permitted scope.

**Child product:** Usable care-source/ask-first/return flap; action field remains blank.

1. **Open · 3 min.** Ask “What may we do here? Where do pages go back?” P: pretend corner only. R: name actual responsible source; no real placement today.
2. **Read source · 4 min.** P: read D exactly. R: read exact local care procedure and scope, source/date; seek clarification if unclear.
3. **Model · 5 min.** P: draw broad return folder and ASK DARA before board cue. R: demonstrate source/permission tab from actual procedure; request alone doesn't grant trial consent.
4. **Child inquiry · 7 min.** Child makes/directs care flap and explains how this chosen place can be looked after, from D or actual source. R: record first actual care explanation/help, leaving missing permission/action open. Ask “Who tells us this? Has it happened, or is it a step to follow?”
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** If care request becomes completed use/agreement, point to blank action/consent fields. Correct explanation doesn't require physical action.
6. **Exit · 2 min.** Save first words/source/help. **Next move:** prepare two proposals and an invitation that allows pass.

## Week 35 · Day 174 · Prepare two layouts and a pass-friendly offer

**Target/codes:** Record a source-backed proposal, share a perspective and question permission/unknown response; AC9HSFS01, AC9HSFS02, AC9HSFS03 and AC9HSFS04 partial. **Actual route/codes:** AC9HSFK03 conditional actual feature/meaning/care-informed proposal. **Ready:** P: B/A/C/D, two broad layout bases and invitation tab; R: actual features/meaning/care records, approved arrangements/material/location/audience.

**Child product:** Two planned arrangements of same source-backed pages, first invitation and separate approval/reader response fields.

1. **Open · 3 min.** Ask “What will we try? Who must agree? How can they pass?” P: paper role play, not consent evidence. R: confirm owner scope; reader isn't obliged.
2. **Read source · 4 min.** P: read B and D ask-first line. R: read actual permission/care source and approved layout options; no reader answer pre-filled.
3. **Model · 5 min.** P: make side-by-side/stacked bases labelled PLAN. R: show how same source-backed pages can be arranged within approval; don't remove/replace real display work. Mark OFFER/PASS separately.
4. **Child inquiry · 7 min.** Child prepares/directs two arrangements and a short invitation “Would you like to try this, or pass?” Keep named meaning/care source with kit. P: adult/paper listener replies are MODEL unless genuinely given. R: actual reader consent recorded only when obtained; silence isn't agreement. Child gives one source-backed reason for plan and writes/dictates first future direction; not yet a use result.
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** Equal space/page count doesn't prove agreement/fairness/access. If source E/F future reports are anticipated, hold them for later lesson and preserve unknown response.
6. **Exit · 2 min.** Save plans/invitation. **Next move:** a fresh skill check before any later report interpretation.

## Week 35 · Day 175 · Fresh check A: Paper Arch

**Target/codes:** Independently use place features, attributed meaning, plan/care and bounded participant evidence; AC9HSFS01, AC9HSFS02, AC9HSFS03, AC9HSFS04 and AC9HSFS05 partial. **Ready:** [held sources/prompts](STUDENT-CHECKS.md), [fresh A sheet](print/check-a-paper-arch.pdf), blank broad model/logbook panels, closed key; ordinary kit out of view.

**Child product:** Fresh first-response source display/trail and useful question. Fictional check does not assess K03; real records remain separate.

2. **Read source · 4 min.** Read new numbered sources neutrally; no conclusions/answers modelled.
3. **Model · 5 min.** Show only adult follows child's placement/dictation on unrelated blank pieces.
4. **Child inquiry · 7 min.** Give four prompts one part at a time; child builds/directs, speaks/signs/AAC/points/dictates. Capture first answers/source and exact help before feedback.
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** Use at most “Which source?” as recorded prompt. Open [separate key](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md) after capture and select one new-context next move.
6. **Exit · 2 min.** Thank without rank. **Next move:** don't rehearse held case into a score; return to bounded real/report trial record separately.

## Week 36 · Day 176 · Record one try without filling the gaps

**Target/codes:** Record a bounded participant report/actual response separately from plan, consent and prediction; AC9HSFS01, AC9HSFS02 and AC9HSFS04 partial. **Actual route/codes:** AC9HSFK03 conditional actual-feature/care communication opportunity, trial itself isn't knowledge proof. **Ready:** P: E, first layout and logbook; R: approved kit/owner scope, renewed willing reader offer, first-direction scribe.

**Child product:** One precise trial/report record with source, layout, actor/response and unknown fields.

1. **Open · 3 min.** Ask “What did we ask? What happened?” P: E is a report, not today's event. R: ask reader anew “Would you like to try, or pass?” Child may also pass.
2. **Read source · 4 min.** P: read E exactly; exact original question/permission not supplied. R: confirm actual place feature/care source and permission; record first child direction before reader response.

If unavailable, P/model separately and real try remains open. Keep place meaning/care-source flap visible.
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** A point doesn't prove consent, independent understanding, everyone or later use. Source report isn't direct real observation. No response is not agreement.
6. **Exit · 2 min.** Save first direction/report/help. **Next move:** a second account can have different people/conditions; don't declare a causal winner.

## Week 36 · Day 177 · Put each response beside its own try

**Child product:** Two separate report/try panels or honest second-trial gap; source-labelled earlier/later account where genuine.

4. **Child inquiry · 7 min.** P: child represents F's reported question without inventing answer/consent, compares it to E and shares short source/place trail with one open question. R: record optional second actual response/pass under conditions; compare exact records without inferring a causal best layout or everyone. Keep actual particular-person meaning distinct from response to display.
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** A question isn't proof of all-user failure; a successful point isn't all-user benefit/fairness. If no second record, keep gap; don't invent it for comparison.

4. **Child inquiry · 7 min.** Child repairs one cue/word/ask-first or return step against P/actual source and gives a source reason. R: ask reader “Would you like another try, or pass?” Retry only under continued scope/willingness; record exact response/help/time or gap. P: use role-play response labelled MODEL or genuine model-reader response scoped to model. No completed retry presumed.
5. **Check/respond · 4 min.** Do not infer learning gain, universally better design/access or fairness from repeat. Capture actual care explanation separately from child motor/action.
6. **Exit · 2 min.** Save first/revised words/approval/status/help. **Next move:** return or hand over kit under the actual care step and tell owner what remains open.

## Week 36 · Day 179 · Make a useful place-care handover
