# Foundation / Queensland Prep HPE · Term 1 Weeks 1–2 · Days 1–10

Ten original 25-minute HPE sessions connect Week 1's **shared learning places** and Week 2's **pictures/signs** to respectful permission, space and fair play. Start with the [exact invented sources and setup](MATERIALS.md), teach the [timed scripts](LESSONS.md), offer [clean child cards with three switchable routes](LEARNER-CARDS.md), and choose from [twenty worked context swaps](PRACTICE-SWAPS.md). Eight original [A4 SVG/PDF aids have full text and tactile routes](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md). [Checks A and B](STUDENT-CHECKS.md) are fresh **public formative checks**; the [teacher-targeted worked key](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md) is also public by URL. Collect first child-controlled responses before feedback. They are not secure exams.

This fortnight offers **partial** FP02/FP04 opportunities. FM01/FM02/FM04 may be sampled **only when a suitable actual movement/play action is safely chosen and observed**. A paper or adult-moved model keeps the child in the lesson and can show a plan, language and reasoning; it does **not** itself evidence a child's physical movement skill or rule-following during physical activity. FP01/FP03/FP05/FP06 and FM03 remain open for later, appropriate teaching.

**Teacher safety and dignity:** use locally approved activity, equipment and access plans. Opt in to movement; offer seated or other individually suitable actual movement and a full paper route. No child must lend a personal belonging, accept touch, disclose a private feeling/body/family detail, race, throw an object or explain a refusal. A “no” is complete. An adult models permission using neutral class props or puppets. If a real safeguarding concern arises, follow school policy instead of using it as class content.
