# Learner response choices · same target, flexible route

Offer A, B or C to any learner on any day. These are response options, not permanent learning styles or ability groups. Read the [complete fictional sources](MATERIALS.md) aloud; offer enlarged text, AAC, sign, private dialogue, adult scribe or optional broad secured tactile labels. No child must disclose a feeling, body condition or safety event. Paper and adult-directed responses show planning or source reasoning; physical evidence needs a separate approved, chosen and observed child action.

## Day 21 · Map versus real place

- **A: Explain:** Tell what Source A's BASE, LOOK SPOT and REST SPACE mean on paper, then name one real check still needed.
- **B: Point:** Trace the large printed route and place a broad SCHOOL CHECK label beside the unverified real space.
- **C: Private read:** Hear the source and choose whether it proves today's ground is clear; explain the source limit without acting.

## Day 22 · Two suitable outdoor possibilities

- **A: Compare:** Say how Elin's and Kai's fictional choices differ while keeping both contingent on individual and local checks.
- **B: Arrange:** Place the two broad activity labels beside CHECK ACCESS and STOP/REST; direct the adult to read them.
- **C: Private choice:** Tell an educator which option a fictional maker might ask about, or propose a third, without explaining your own body.

## Day 23 · Conditions change

- **A: Tell:** Respond to the adult's fictional wet-path message with a stop and a checked alternate plan.
- **B: Point:** Move a broad token from PLANNED ROUTE to STOP / CHECK / OTHER SAFE OPTION on paper.
- **C: Private source read:** Identify the new fictional condition and why the original paper map cannot override a current adult check.

## Day 24 · Possible value, no promised result

- **A: Discuss:** State what one Source C puppet says they might value, and keep that statement attached to that puppet.
- **B: Match:** Put each puppet's broad phrase beside POSSIBLE VALUE, not GUARANTEED RESULT.
- **C: Private or pass:** Say “not sure” or optionally name a personally chosen reason for activity; no real feeling or health report is required.

## Day 25 · Fresh Case H

- **A: Speak or sign:** After the first neutral read, answer the three [teacher-held questions](ASSESSMENT.md) in your words.
- **B: Point or AAC:** Select broad labels from the new source to answer the same three questions without a content hint.
- **C: Private read:** Hear the new case quietly and identify its exact line for the same questions; no outdoor movement is required.

## Day 26 · Cooperative sequence

- **A: Tell:** Put Source D's chosen action, broad mark, stable pause and wide target in order; name the one-person rule.
- **B: Arrange:** Use four broad secured sequence cards and direct an adult through them; this remains a paper plan.
- **C: Private compare:** Tell an adult which step needs a local access check before a child actually tries it.

## Day 27 · Permission for shared space

- **A: Rehearse:** With adult puppets, ask about class equipment or lane, hear “not now”, and choose a different safe option.
- **B: Point or AAC:** Order ASK, ANSWER, ACCEPT, WAIT/OTHER OPTION on broad cards without using a peer's real item.
- **C: Private source read:** Quote the one-person lane rule and explain why printed permission does not replace a real person's answer.

## Day 28 · Adapt without ranking

- **A: Explain:** Change Source E's same-height requirement to a safe chosen target/action while keeping the cooperative goal.
- **B: Move labels:** Put CHOSEN ACTION and OWN WIDE TARGET beside the paper sequence, then direct the adult to read the revision.
- **C: Private response:** Identify the Source E line that gives participants space and say what would need checking in real play.

## Day 29 · Fair turn rule

- **A: Tell:** Propose one-person clear-lane, enough-time and next-turn wording with a stop cue.
- **B: Arrange:** Place FIRST TURN, CLEAR LANE and NEXT TURN on paper; show where a safe waiting choice goes.
- **C: Private source read:** Quote the better Source E proposal and distinguish proposed fairness from observed real conduct.

## Day 30 · Fresh Case I

- **A: Speak or sign:** After first neutral read, answer the three new [teacher-held questions](ASSESSMENT.md) without a content cue.
- **B: Point or AAC:** Use broad labels to answer the same questions while an adult records exact choices.
- **C: Private read:** Hear Case I privately, quote its line for the same questions and name the paper-versus-actual boundary.
