# Thirty flexible routes to the same daily HPE goal

Offer A/B/C to any learner at any moment, not as a fixed learning-style or ability group. Adult reads the [complete original sources](MATERIALS.md). Use speech, sign, AAC, broad secured cards, pointing, a private conversation or a scribe. Tactile or braille labels are available if chosen; no forced touch. Paper reasoning is available to everyone; actual physical participation is separately optional, locally approved and recorded only if observed.

## Day 41 · Two possibilities, one honest source label

- **A: Explain:** Name two different suitable ways someone might join and say why seven invented tokens do not prove any child moved.
- **B: Arrange:** Place two broad option arrows, REST and PASS beside Source A, then point to PAPER ONLY.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Direct an adult to draw two different options and choose the label PAPER PLAN, explaining what real evidence is missing.

## Day 42 · Invite and accept a no

- **A: Say or sign:** Offer two suitable choices plus pass to a pretend partner, then answer “not now” respectfully.
- **B: Order cards:** Place ASK → CHOICE/REST/PASS → ACCEPT NO and direct an adult to read the invitation.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Select invitation and respectful response symbols, identify Source B as rehearsal and say what real permission would require.

## Day 43 · A fair turn rule

- **A: Explain:** Propose one-person shared space, a rest/stop option and two ways to reach the same game goal.
- **B: Map:** Arrange broad START, TURN, REST and STOP cards, then describe the rule and alternative access route.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Direct an adult to make the map and point to what keeps turns fair; label it a paper rule until tried.

## Day 44 · Plan versus observed try

- **A: Tell:** Name one proposed action, the optional real action if it occurred, and which source supports each claim.
- **B: Sort records:** Put PLAN and ACTUAL under the right headings; leave ACTUAL blank unless an approved child action really happened.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Direct an adult to record exact action or NOT OBSERVED, including setting and stop/rest choice; no movement is required to show source reasoning.

## Day 45 · Fresh Case L

- **A: Spoken/signed:** After a neutral read, answer all [new-case questions](ASSESSMENT.md): source, fair invitation and real-evidence limit.
- **B: Broad point/AAC:** Use held-case labels to answer the same three questions, with the first choice recorded before any hint.
- **C: Private read:** Hear the complete new source, point to what its marks show, compose a fair invitation and separate paper from actual participation.

## Day 46 · Two sources, no invented growth

- **A: Explain:** Choose two work or activity sources, tell what each shows and name one unknown.
- **B: Sort:** Put PAPER and ACTUAL/date labels by the chosen sources, leaving ACTUAL empty when no record exists.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Direct an adult to select two appropriate sources and state whether each is only a plan or an observed action.

## Day 47 · Compare without guessing

- **A: Describe:** Say what a plan proposed, what a real record actually shows if available, and what changed or is unknown.
- **B: Align cards:** Place a first plan beside a second source, mark which is paper/actual, and point to a supported difference.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Ask an adult to read each exact source; choose a change and its source, without claiming an unobserved try.

## Day 48 · Revise one rule

- **A: Explain:** Name one source-based problem, change one rule and say what real effect remains unknown.
- **B: Before/after:** Place two broad rule strips side by side, mark the one changed part and point to the source of the reason.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Direct an adult to draw the revised rule, state why and label any fictional feedback as fictional.

## Day 49 · A next choice, not a promise

- **A: Tell:** Choose a suitable next action, rest or pass and say one question a later safe opportunity could answer.
- **B: Choice card:** Place NEXT, REST/PASS and QUESTION labels in order, then distinguish proposal from a real try.
- **C: Private/AAC:** Direct an adult to write a chosen next option and checkable question; no public performance is required.

## Day 50 · Fresh Case M

- **A: Spoken/signed:** After a neutral read, answer all [new-case questions](ASSESSMENT.md): exact change, fair reason and actual-evidence limit.
- **B: Broad point/AAC:** Use held-case before/after labels for the same three questions, recording the first independent choice.
- **C: Private read:** Hear the complete case, point to the revised rule and purpose, then separate invented praise from actual play evidence.
