# Foundation / Prep mathematics · Weeks 29–30 · Days 141–150

**Use and evidence:** Precount broad practice tiles, then let children show a unit twice, count each item once, match groups and explain with objects. Record first child-controlled response, adult actions and later correction separately. Child-directed adult handling, AAC, text and tactile access are available; no colour, hearing or motor performance is a hidden maths prerequisite. Do not infer paper-stand strength from a larger tile count. Keep the fresh checks out of practice.
