# Foundation mathematics · Term 4 Weeks 37–38 · Days 181–190

Ten **25-minute** lessons for an Australian Foundation/Prep educator. Week 37 answers a **given** low-stakes question about supplied fictional picture cards: collect, sort, count and compare only what is shown. Week 38 checks an object model against the objects, repairs an error where there is one, and explains a confirmed or revised conclusion. This is a **partial national-curriculum teaching opportunity**, not a state-approved year plan or a finding about real children, homes or communities.

Start with [materials and exact practice sets](MATERIALS.md), teach from [ten timed scripts](LESSONS.md), and hand out one [clean learner card](LEARNER-CARDS.md) per day. There are three same-target response routes each day; a child may switch routes. Use the [twenty worked optional swaps](PRACTICE-SWAPS.md) for transfer or home play. At Days 185 and 190, use the [fresh child-facing formative checks](STUDENT-CHECKS.md). Keep first child-controlled responses before showing feedback or the [separate teacher-targeted worked key](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md). Both documents are public by URL; these checks are **not secure exams**. Do not rehearse the held cases. Give access support without supplying mathematical content; note content prompting separately.

**Use boundary:** All scenarios and numbers are invented. Paper objects are broad and kept as a sheet or adult-managed cards. No real survey, preference, household, identity, transport behaviour, biological inference, unreviewed translation or First Nations content is requested.
