# Foundation Media Arts / Queensland Prep · opening fortnight

Ten original **25-minute** starts for making small visual stories through sequence, frame, crop, caption and audience choice. Children can use broad paper cards, exact text/tactile frames, drawing, AAC or a child-directed neutral adult. No device, camera, child image, child voice, upload, account or public sharing is needed. The only figures are invented geometric paper tokens; no outside art, film, character, sound, cultural motif or real person is copied.

The [exact ACARA v9 / QCAA Prep crosswalk](CURRICULUM-CROSSWALK.md) uses **AC9AMAFE01, AC9AMAFD01, AC9AMAFC01 and AC9AMAFP01**. Start with [six original A–F visual-story cards](MATERIALS.md), [ten timed teacher scripts](LESSONS.md), [30 switchable routes](LEARNER-CARDS.md), [20 worked context swaps](PRACTICE-SWAPS.md), [20 life-domain bridges](EXAMPLE-BANK.md) and [spoken/quiet prompts](PROMPTS.md). Two **fresh public formative checks G/H** have [learner sheets](STUDENT-CHECKS.md) and a separate [teacher key](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md). Six original [A4 storyboard aids](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md) and two check sheets have SVG/PDF and exact text/tactile directions. Paper is the complete route for these early visual-sequencing targets.

The common target is **a child-selected arrangement and intended message**. A paper storyboard can show pre-production and a finished paper media image sequence when the child makes/share it; it does not show camera/editing/audio skill, viewer reaction or consent to publish. Actual sharing means an actual willing person receives the child's selected work in a controlled setting. A paper puppet rehearsal or pass does not provide that audience evidence. Teachers follow local material/access, privacy and display rules; they do not photograph or upload work under this pack.
