# Two new public formative picture puzzles · learner copy

These are open teaching probes, not secure formal assessment. The child may use broad/raised cards, drawing, AAC or a neutral scribe. No camera, device, reading test, child image/voice or public post. Record the first choice before opening the separate [teacher key](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md).

## Check A · New G paper box

Start **1 EMPTY BOX; 2 TRIANGLE IN BOX**. The maker now wants a two-picture sequence that could suggest the **TRIANGLE LEAVES** the box. Keep both pictures, change their order, and show panel 1 and panel 2. Give a possible reason. A real viewer might interpret it differently; this is an intended reading.

**Record neutrally:** first panel order, changed operation, child's reason and route. Do not reverse the cards before their first response.

A new CIRCLE token starts **frame 1 LEFT; frame 2 MIDDLE; frame 3 RIGHT** on a fictional paper stage. The maker now wants the CIRCLE to **RETURN LEFT in the last frame**, keeping frames 1 and 2 exactly as they are. Change one final position, show all three frames and give a possible reason. Choose a willing person to show the original sequence to, a paper puppet rehearsal, or a pass. Record actual sharing separately.

**Record neutrally:** first three positions, changed frame, reason, route, actual recipient if any. Puppet rehearsal/pass is not actual-audience sharing.
