# Three switchable routes per day

All routes aim at the **same decision and explanation** in that day’s script. The educator records the child’s own choice, not the adult’s arrangement. “Direct” can mean speech, gesture, sign, eye gaze with an agreed confirmation, switch or AAC. Adults describe rather than preselect. Passing or returning later is allowed; it is not evidence of target attainment.

For Day 19, a puppet-only rehearsal/pass is a valid participation route; it is **not** actual-audience evidence. A paper-only route cannot demonstrate camera, microphone, editing or real-world audience reception.
