# One precise prompt per day

Read aloud, sign, show large print or use AAC. Pause for the child’s own answer. Their local symbol mapping may differ from an adult’s; record it rather than assuming a universal rule.

| Day | Prompt |
| --- | --- |
| 31 | “What would you like your one paper card to help someone do or think?” |
| 32 | “In *your* invented game, what does this mark mean?” |
| 33 | “This same mark has two jobs here. What one change would make the jobs easier to tell apart?” |
| 34 | “Can you trace each sign on the guide to the meaning you put in your legend?” |
| 35 | “What does the new legend say THREE DOTS means, and where should it go?” |
| 36 | “What did you choose for your card’s purpose, two signs and their meanings?” |
| 37 | “Without colour, how can someone tell your two signs apart while their meanings stay?” |
| 38 | “Would you like a willing person to see it, practise privately, choose later or pass?” |
| 39 | “Who made this authorised work, and what does the maker say it is for?” |
| 40 | “Which one sign could change so GO and PAUSE look or feel different without colour?” |
