# Thirty equivalent planning routes

Offer every route without diagnosis labels. Fixed high-contrast X/REST cards, raised upper/lower lanes, broad vertical windows, AAC and a neutral adult who acts on child direction preserve the **musical planning** target. These do not provide identical hearing, production, motor or group evidence. No compulsory voice, touch, movement, peer turn, device, family disclosure or public solo. Optional audio requires educator listening and volume approval and child consent; an adult's sound is not a child's sound.

| Day | Optional approved sound / actual participation route | Fixed broad-card / tactile route | Drawing, AAC or directed-adult route |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 51 | Hear or direct one safe upper phrase if chosen; record actual event only. | Fix two raised four-place lanes, upper X REST X REST and lower all REST. | Draw or dictate four aligned columns and choose a quiet lower line. |
| 52 | After local review, hear candidate A or approved sources; identify only sound actually perceived. | Put lower REST X X REST under fixed upper and mark two X at column 3. | Point or AAC “upper, lower, both, quiet” across the four vertical pairs. |
| 53 | If reviewed, compare sound and reader icons; never infer hearing from icon choice. | Slide wide column window across Practice B; place four embossed summary tokens. | Draw a four-icon key or direct an adult to write the child's exact column reading. |
| 54 | Willing participants may optionally try safe simultaneous sounds; no partner required. | Lay upper X X X REST over lower REST REST X X with raised line labels. | Use AAC or draw first upper alone, then together, then lower alone. |
| 55 | Optional sound follows the independent Q paper answer and is logged separately. | Use fresh S/T raised strips and one broad window for each unfamiliar column. | Point, draw, AAC or dictate the first full four-label Q reading. |
| 56 | Child may choose comfortable upper/lower/both/observer role if actual safe sound is offered. | Select a large line or quiet-role token and move cards only as desired. | AAC, gesture or neutral scribe records participation preference and score choice. |
| 57 | If approved, hear a before/after rendering; record what was truly heard. | Cover only lower X3 with broad REST; use raised window to compare columns. | Draw both versions or dictate which single cell and summary label changed. |
| 58 | Child may direct safe approved sounds for their authored plan, with separate observation. | Build two original fixed four-cell lanes and four tactile summary tokens. | Draw or AAC a two-line original and instruct a neutral adult to transcribe its key. |
| 59 | Approved original sound or score may be received by a willing person if child chooses. | Share an original fixed-card score with a willing person; rehearsal/pass remain valid. | Use AAC, pointing or neutral adult to present the child-authored score if desired. |
| 60 | Optional sound comes after independent R response and supplies separate evidence only. | Keep fresh upper K fixed; change lower L count 2 with a broad REST card. | Point, draw, AAC or dictate full revised R score and remaining together place. |

A quiet/tactile score route can fully show a child-authored **plan**. It cannot prove how a sound was heard, what pitch or timbre occurred, how accurately anyone kept time, or whether a real person accepted the work.
