# Thirty equivalent source-planning routes

All routes retain the **read or make an A/B source plan** target. They do not automatically supply equal acoustic, vocal or motor evidence. Use broad fixed circle/striped-square cards with words, raised versions, AAC, drawing, pointing, a neutral reader/scribe and pass. Optional candidate audio needs human listening and comfortable-volume clearance on intended equipment and child choice. No mandatory voice, object strike, speaker near an ear, public solo or family disclosure. A child-directed adult's sound-making is not the child's production.

| Day | Optional reviewed sound plus source-plan route | Broad-card / tactile source-plan route | Drawing, AAC or directed-adult route |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 71 | After local approval, compare A and B cues; also point to their separate source keys. | Match round A and striped B cards to two fixed named recipe spaces. | Draw or dictate the A/B key and choose an intended source for a paper display. |
| 72 | If approved, hear A-only and B-only, then build a chosen four-event source row. | Place four broad A cards or four B cards on a numbered tray. | AAC or direct adult to write one repeated source at four places and a reason. |
| 73 | If approved, use AABB cue and mark where the source changes; note hearing separately. | Build A A B B with raised shapes; place a large boundary marker after 2. | Draw or dictate the AABB row and chosen switch point. |
| 74 | If a safe local demo occurs, identify actual source/action and still plan the two pairs. | Match SOURCE and ACTION cards in two large panels without requiring playback. | AAC, drawing or neutral scribe records two planned pairs and leaves unheard results blank. |
| 75 | Optional approved cue follows first independent U answer; actual hearing is a separate note. | Read new five-place key by fixed raised A/B cards; mark all change boundaries. | Point, draw, AAC or dictate first complete U row and boundaries. |
| 76 | A reviewed local safe sound can be observed and source/action labelled, if chosen. | Sort real or symbolic SOURCE and ACTION cards; blank observation fields stay blank if no sound. | Direct an adult or AAC to record proposed versus actually observed events separately. |
| 77 | Approved cues, if actually prepared, can compare before/after; paper still shows the switch. | Preserve A A B B and change only second-row place 2 to B. | Draw or dictate both versions, changed place and moved switch. |
| 78 | Child may direct an approved source for their original palette; record sound separately. | Build four child-chosen A/B cards and mark every source-change boundary. | Draw, AAC or direct adult to transcribe the original palette and intention. |
| 79 | If approved and chosen, a willing person may receive actual original sound. | A willing recipient may receive an original score privately; rehearsal/pass remain choices. | AAC or neutral adult shares only as directed; log actual receipt and medium. |
| 80 | Optional approved sound follows first independent V response, never supplies its answer. | Use blank raised four-place strip and broad A/B cards to meet new brief. | Point, draw, AAC or dictate complete V score, boundary and musical reason. |

A paper key can fully support source-choice planning. It cannot show that a child distinguished two waveforms by ear, controlled a sound source, kept event timing, set safe loudness or reached an audience.
