# Two fresh low-stakes public Music checks

These paper/card prompts need no sound, printer, timer or speech. A neutral adult may read the key, present broad raised one/two-dot cards, and scribe only the child's directions. Keep the educator key separate. Save the first complete response and route before any reteaching. Do not score a child against another child's willingness to hear or perform.

## Check W · Read a new level path

Mark each gap where the *planned level* changes. Say, point or show what the paper cannot prove about an actual sound. Do not ask the adult to mark a gap for you. No playback is needed.

Show your complete order, point to the S place, and tell/show one musical idea for that choice. What can a paper score not tell us about real hearing or sharing? All four S positions are allowed; no finished score is shown on the sheet.
