# Candid teacher, learner and funder desk run-through · 30 September 2026

**Teacher.** The scripts give ten timed starts, an explicit key, worked one-edit models, two formative checks and next responses. I can set out a fixed card strip without a device. The three-lane symbols may feel dense for some Prep children; I will introduce one event, then two takes, and cover unused lanes while pointing to the changed lane. I must keep a real source, actual sounding and audience fields blank unless those events occur. The integrated Week 19 science test remains separate. A local school timetable, equipment check, accessibility review and cultural source selection still belong to the educator.

**Learner.** I can read a big word/key, use tactile raised lines/circles/dots, direct an adult to place cards, use AAC or work silently. I can author a meaningful edit without selecting an emotion or explaining a family context. A neutral adult must not turn Check Z's blank revision into an answer. A printable PDF is not itself tactile; a grown-up must build broad cards from the exact directions. I can decline a sound or recipient.

**Funder/assessor.** This is an original, openly licensed ten-session slice with 30 routes, 20 worked swaps, 20 optional bridges, eight A4 aids and four reproducible candidate cues. It is not a class pilot, an accessibility certification, a claim of improved scores, a complete Music course, or evidence of community use. Workbook rows and source caveats are explicit. The local verifier checks files and logic; it cannot judge children's experience. A sound file must pass human listening and device-level review before use.

**Critical fix applied by design.** A “one variable changed” phrase can tempt a scientific causal claim. Here the comparison is a compositional choice, and documents use “one **mark** changed” rather than asserting identical real acoustic experience. For any actual sound trial, the educator notes the cue, device, volume setting and child's own response. A paper score can be readable without proving a listener heard the intended change. Sharing is optional and counted only after a willing recipient actually receives the work.
