# Author desk run-through · Foundation Science Weeks 3–4

**Teacher route:** With approved broad slow-moving object, flat marked lane and catch, Day 13 is runnable in 25 minutes: preflight 3, prediction 4, separate fictional-model explanation 5, one real try 7, comparison 4, exit 2. Record actual source/date/surface/handler/action/result/access. Days 16–18 need preflighted comparable pairs and may need advance sourcing; if a pair is not safe or matched, the honest lesson outcome is a comparison plan and an unknown cause. Day 19 has a real-record or explicitly fictional-report route. All ten scripts include one available no-touch route.

**Child route:** In Model M I can read START, circle, one arrow and CATCH. I cannot know that a real round thing rolled or how fast. In Model N I can see different invented stop words but cannot know shape caused them because size/material/release are missing. A child can answer by pointing, speech, sign, AAC, drawing or directing an adult. Those routes retain the same question and source standard.

**Assessor route:** Day 15's held square-centre/two-arrow board is absent from teaching/practice. Day 20's held ring/oval centre/left records are absent from teaching/practice. The teacher key does not prescribe a real object's result. The first independent response, adult prompt and evidence type are logged before feedback. The small checks choose follow-up, not certification.

**Funder/public route:** Materials are original except the exact ACARA quotation in the crosswalk. Pinned official workbook/rows, QCAA entry and rights are linked. There is no classroom pilot, teacher-user test, measured impact, certified accessibility, live translation, state-complete alignment or claim that a model proves local Science. Public build/link inspection remains with site integration.

**Mechanical and visual receipt:** [Verifier](verify_pack.py) checks ten 25-minute scripts, 30 routes, 20 worked swaps, held separation, exact ACARA rows/hash, links, six A4 SVG/PDF pairs and asset hashes. PDFs were rendered with Inkscape and visually inspected at a raster preview size; repeat that after artwork edits. This desk review is not a practising-teacher classroom trial. The next useful external review is a Prep teacher and local accessibility/safety check on real materials and timing.
