# Foundation / Prep Science · Weeks 7–8 · Days 31–40

**Teacher draft, 29 September 2026.** Week 7 asks how to check a printed claim about the mark on a **teacher-made practice sign** using a safe, adult-controlled dry-wipe inquiry. It does not alter or interpret an official safety sign. Week 8 asks whether three **comparable actual results** show a small local pattern, and distinguishes that evidence from a decorative AB sequence. **Before children arrive:** obtain school approval for the exact broad intact practice surface, dry school-approved non-toxic mark, broad dry cloth and adult action. Never touch a real safety sign, use a solvent/spray, or require a child to handle ink. For every real try, log date, verified material or UNKNOWN, mark/cloth, dry state, one-pass action, actual after-mark and access route. If no safe actual trial is possible, write **REAL OBSERVATION NOT AVAILABLE** and run the original paper models as representation practice only; never invent the result or an audience response.
