# Optional five-minute family conversations · Days 41–50

These are invitations, **not homework or an assessment requirement**. A child may pass. No family needs to buy materials, take/send photos, collect living things, reveal private information or conduct a physical test. A family can talk, point, sign, use home language, AAC, drawing or a broad tactile card. A response is not submitted or published. If a family does safely observe something together, it remains their experience; it is **not** a verified school investigation unless the school later checks source, date, method and permissions. No translations or local cultural knowledge are supplied here.

| 44 | “What would help another person understand your drawing or explanation?” | Listener response is recorded only if it happens. |
| 45 | “What could a paper arrow show? What could it not tell us?” | Drawing direction is not measured motion. |
| 46 | “When a guess and a result differ, what can we learn or ask next?” | A different prediction is okay; use a real result only if known. |
| 47 | “Name one safe question you are curious about. What would you need to find out?” | No home test is expected. |
| 48 | “What can you tell from a drawing of a plant, object or material? What needs a real source?” | Avoid naming species or properties by guess. |
| 49 | “Show or tell me one idea you chose this term, if you want.” | The child chooses; no public proof or ranking. |
| 50 | “What is one thing you want to notice, make or ask next?” | Curiosity is a planning clue, not a promise of progress. |
