# Twenty worked context swaps · two per day

These are original **fictional paper cases** unless a teacher explicitly replaces them with a safe approved dated actual source and logs the genuine result. The worked answer models source reasoning, not a classroom finding. No private child/family data, purchases, photo upload or unsafe home experiment.

## Day 41

1. **Parcel office:** A story card says a broad parcel slid to the middle. **Worked:** the author reports a fictional event; no local object, date or observed movement exists.
2. **Garden notebook:** A dated teacher-approved live plant record shows one visible oval leaf outline. **Worked:** cite the exact record if real; do not claim an unseen root or a species from the outline.

## Day 42

1. **Book cart:** A genuine earlier safe movement log has a result but no written pre-action prediction. **Worked:** display result/source/date and write PREDICTION NOT RECORDED, not a guess.
2. **Art-table story:** A fictional material test gives question, prediction and story result. **Worked:** place all three under MODEL; do not award actual safe-investigation evidence.

## Day 43

1. **Toy workshop:** Two real logs use different object sizes and different release surfaces. **Worked:** describe both exact results but mark cause/comparison limited by changed conditions.
2. **Nature shelf:** One source is a real live plant view and one a drawn plant-like card. **Worked:** compare visible marks/source types as such; do not claim two live plant observations.

## Day 44

1. **Library exhibition:** A fictional listener asks “Which date?” in a script. **Worked:** that is invented dialogue, not actual classroom feedback; a display needs its real date if claiming an observation.
2. **Paper science board:** A real consenting teacher asks a child what a symbol means. **Worked:** record the actual words and child's explanation; revise only if the source or real question supports it.

## Day 45

1. **Train map:** A drawn arrow points east on a paper route. **Worked:** it shows direction in the drawing; no train, actual speed or local movement is established.
2. **Maker table:** An approved broad object has no verified material label. **Worked:** record the exact visible feature and UNKNOWN material until a trustworthy source verifies it.

## Day 46

1. **Stage prop:** Prior prediction says “stays”; actual dated safe record says “turned once.” **Worked:** DIFFERENT in that documented try, with conditions; no child failure or universal rule.
2. **Photo album:** A photograph is labelled with date viewed but no original source/creator. **Worked:** describe the shown photo marks cautiously and leave rights/provenance incomplete; do not publish or call it a live view.

## Day 47

1. **Sports equipment:** One dated object-motion record lacks lane-surface detail. **Worked:** next question may hold surface constant in a future approved trial; do not invent the earlier surface.
2. **Craft screen:** A material-view log says CANNOT TELL because of glare. **Worked:** plan a safe consistent viewing position/room light and ask again later; do not fill a visibility result now.

## Day 48

1. **Story forest:** A made-up animal drawing has two marks below an oval. **Worked:** describe marks, not verified legs, species or behaviour; a safe real animal view/photo source would be needed.
2. **Post desk:** An invented after-wipe line is thinner than a before-line. **Worked:** drawing comparison is valid, but no physical surface was wiped; plan a locally approved actual test if useful.

## Day 49

1. **Science folder:** A child selects an actual dated plant-view card and a model motion arrow. **Worked:** handover marks one actual source and one MODEL; they are not two real observations.
2. **Workshop journal:** No earlier record survives, but the child gives a new careful question today. **Worked:** label NEW EVIDENCE of question-making; never invent an old “before” sample or growth story.

## Day 50

1. **Museum label:** A fictional display says “all broad objects roll” from one drawn route. **Worked:** neither the universal claim nor a real route follows from the drawing; ask about one approved exact object.
2. **School garden plan:** A teacher has a safe live plant view but no animal source. **Worked:** record plant features only; grouping plants and animals remains unobserved until a genuine suitable animal source is available.
