# Foundation / Prep Science · Weeks 9–10 · Days 41–50

**Teacher draft, 29 September 2026.** Week 9 builds a small **Science evidence display** from genuine source-labelled questions, predictions, actions and observations when those school records exist. Week 10 asks what a prediction can actually be compared with, what remains unobserved, and what safe question to teach next. This complements the [Week 9 maths display](../../../term-1/week-09-show-what-we-found.md) and [Week 10 integrated reflection](../../../term-1/week-10-what-changed.md) without treating made-up card counts or a portfolio choice as proof of a Science investigation.

**Before children arrive:** retrieve approved private actual Science logs with date/source/method/access/prompt, or plan a new safe local observation and label it NEW EVIDENCE. Do not invent an old “before”, a result or listener feedback. If no genuine source exists, write **REAL OBSERVATION NOT AVAILABLE** and use the original paper notebook/diagrams for source reasoning only. The handover says NOT OBSERVED where evidence is missing, never “cannot do”. Completed child work stays in school custody.
