# Learner cards · thirty flexible routes to ten shared Science targets

Read [full D/E texts and adult safety gate](MATERIALS.md). A/B/C change access or response form, **not** what counts as a supported observation. Choose with the learner in the moment; no fixed learning-style labels. A child may speak, sign, use AAC, point, draw, dictate, read enlarged text, hear a neutral attributed ADULT REPORT, or use broad secured tactile **paper** marks. No wet touching, smell, hearing, visual attention or personal disclosure is required. Paper remains **FICTIONAL MODEL**. Day 115/120 routes below are practice only **after** the teacher-held first response.

## Day 111 · Ask before results

- **A · look/mark:** See D setup without after entries; mark a surface question and a possible prior prediction.
- **B · hear/say:** Hear the same dry-surface setup read aloud; dictate one observable question before results.
- **C · touch/choose:** Choose broad fixed PAPER / PLASTIC / QUESTION / PREDICT cards by AAC/sign; no real water touch.

## Day 112 · One planned change

- **A · look/mark:** Circle surface as change; underline same drop method, wait and view.
- **B · hear/say:** Hear a plan with a changed wait and say what to reset.
- **C · touch/choose:** Arrange secured SAME / CHANGED / INTERRUPTED labels into an adult-only safe plan.

## Day 113 · Three moments

- **A · look/mark:** Record actual dated or D MODEL BEFORE, DURING and AFTER with exact visible words.
- **B · hear/say:** Hear genuine attributed neutral report or D; dictate three moments with source/access.
- **C · touch/choose:** Sequence fixed BEFORE / ADULT ACTION / AFTER paper fields and choose exact known/unknown labels.

## Day 114 · Raw pairs

- **A · look/mark:** Enter two actual pairs if genuinely observed or two D MODEL pairs, plus interruption separately.
- **B · hear/say:** Hear pair entries in order and state which are valid appearances versus run-off.
- **C · touch/choose:** Select broad PAPER/PLASTIC and MARK/DROP/INTERRUPTED labels in pair order, source attached.

## Day 115 · Practice after first check

- **A · look/mark:** Make a different paper-only comparison with one planned surface difference and a second changed drop amount.
- **B · hear/say:** Tell why two pretend marks with unequal waits cannot settle a real material claim.
- **C · touch/choose:** Move secured SAME / CHANGED cards and choose a safer fair adult plan, no outcome invented.

## Day 116 · Appearance versus explanation

- **A · look/mark:** Point to one actual or D mark; state exactly what appears and what remains unknown.
- **B · hear/say:** Hear a source description; dictate “this source shows …; it does not show where water went.”
- **C · touch/choose:** Use fixed VISIBLE MARK / MECHANISM UNKNOWN cards; adult voices exact child selection.

## Day 117 · Supported versus overbroad

- **A · look/mark:** Link E's first sentence to D marks; label its second sentence unsupported.
- **B · hear/say:** Hear E completely and replace “every”/“vanished inside” with a bounded paper-only description.
- **C · touch/choose:** Choose broad SOURCE / SUPPORTED HERE / NOT SHOWN HERE strips, retaining MODEL.

## Day 118 · Next safe question

- **A · look/mark:** Write/draw one observable later-mark question with same wait and adult approval.
- **B · hear/say:** Say an answerable no-touch question and what real dated source would help.
- **C · touch/choose:** Sequence secured QUESTION / SAFE ADULT / SAME CONDITION / UNKNOWN cards by AAC/sign.

## Day 119 · Private explanation

- **A · look/mark:** Make a source, marks, claim, unknown and next-check page with real/model status.
- **B · hear/say:** Tell a chosen private listener exact source-backed appearance; actual feedback only if heard.
- **C · touch/choose:** Sequence broad fields and direct adult to voice exact child-selected evidence/limit.

## Day 120 · Practice after first check

- **A · look/mark:** Invent a new paper surface record and mark one supported and one unsupported sentence.
- **B · hear/say:** Explain what an approved dated real comparison needs before anyone says it happened at school.
- **C · touch/choose:** Choose MODEL / ACTUAL / ADULT REPORT and VALID / INTERRUPTED / UNKNOWN labels accurately.
