# Twenty worked life-domain bridges · one art move at a time

These are adult models to make the day's art question concrete. The child can change every invented place and image. Each row offers two different domains but the same formal decision. Neither model is a real safety sign, material result, cultural design or measured viewer response. A no-print route is always to describe/draw the panels or marks in the air. **After collection** means the worked example is withheld until the fresh check's first response is saved.

| Day · art move | Worked bridge 1 | Worked bridge 2 |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 31 · seen/unknown | **Parcel depot fiction:** a crate bears a loop beside a small square. Name the two visible marks, write “meaning unknown,” and ask who made the label before assigning a job to it. | **Puppet theatre:** a ticket has one arc and a stripe. Describe their position only; ask the pretend ticket maker what it stands for rather than inventing an entry rule. |
| 32 · first-panel path | **Ferry story:** panel 1 shows a paper boat at a made-up dock; panel 2 shows it at a table. Put a broad “1” above the first panel so the viewer is invited across. | **Toy repair studio:** stack panel 1 (loose wheel) above panel 2 (person asking about it); use a line down the side as the intended path, not a claim about a real repair. |
| 33 · same/change | **Space postcard:** keep one invented triangular stamp in both panels but move it from left to right; ask if the viewer can follow the imagined stamp. | **Laundry tale:** keep a round cloth tag in both panels, change the drawn basket's position; the tag stays while the scene changes. No actual laundering action is observed. |
| 34 · compose/revise | **Miniature museum:** a fictional visitor first sees an unlabeled object, then points to a question card; move the shared object closer to the panel boundary on revision so its continuity is clearer. | **Café menu fantasy:** panel 1 contains an invented cup sketch; panel 2 repeats the cup by an adult's question card; add a small repeated handle mark when a viewer route feels unclear. No food is handled. |
| 35 · transfer after collection | **Post office tale:** after Check M, try a new card with a made-up oval-with-line mark; show notice then question in two possible panel routes. | **Construction-toy tale:** after collection, keep the same toy wheel across panels but change its drawn position; choose where a viewer should start. Neither rehearses the held shelf icon. |
| 36 · story versus repeat | **Planetarium fiction:** a shutter drawn open, then closed is a one-time scene change; two abstract starless ticks repeated in pairs form a different visual beat. | **Garden fantasy:** a drawn gate open then shut tells a change; “curve, dot; curve, dot” returns as a mark group. Neither proves a real garden observation. |
| 37 · grouped beat | **Festival-free parade game:** invent “wide window, short dash” and draw it three times with a wider space after each pair; say the wider gap marks a group. | **Stationery border:** invent “rounded corner, small bar” and repeat it three times along a pretend notebook edge; choose close group gaps so the viewer sees one long visual flow. No cultural border pattern is copied. |
| 38 · translate/return | **Silent puppet scene:** map an invented arc mark to puppet hand up, square mark to puppet hand still; return to arc/square in the same order but put larger gaps between groups for breathing room. | **Desk game:** map stripe to adult card turn and round mark to adult pause; rebuild the visual stripe/round strip with a thicker drawn stripe, keeping mark order. The action is optional and locally safe. |
| 39 · authority/audience | **Cleared-maker possibility:** if a real named work and an authorised statement of its purpose for particular people are available, attribute those exact facts and ask what the child noticed; otherwise mark **no full real-work encounter**. | **Private viewer possibility:** if a willing viewer actually sees the child's strip, write their exact response and the child's chosen explanation; an imagined reader or browser preview stays **NOT SHARED**. |
| 40 · transfer after collection | **Transit-ticket fiction:** after Check N, make a fresh border from window and dash, group two full units in two different spaces and choose which viewer path you want. | **Astronomy-game dashboard:** after collection, use a made-up ring and short slash as a recurring pair; vary *between-group* gaps while the order stays fixed. Do not turn it into a real navigation signal. |

**Return to the child's own idea:** “What did you keep, change or repeat, and what do you hope a viewer notices?” Record the child's exact meaning. Do not supply a cultural interpretation, a safety rule or a claimed audience effect.
