# Foundation Visual Arts / Queensland Prep · Term 1 Weeks 7–8

This fourth original fortnight follows [Weeks 1–2 line/shape/overlap](../weeks-01-02/README.md), [Weeks 3–4 crop/open area/marks](../weeks-03-04/README.md) and [Weeks 5–6 contour/negative space/layers](../weeks-05-06/README.md). Here, children make a **two-panel image that guides a viewer through a fictional question**, then a **grouped visual beat that returns**. They compare a changing story sequence with a repeating unit. The Week 7 art card does not issue a real safety instruction; the Week 8 visual beat does not stand in for the mathematics assessment.

A real school sign, protective behaviour action, personal-data response and the mathematical repeating-pattern result remain in their own locally approved lessons. This art pack uses **only invented people, places, marks and images** and records a child's art intention separately from any other learning claim.
