# Safe optional making, true no-material route and evidence boundaries

No purchase, screen, colour, print, moving body, loose piece, touch or public performance is required. An adult can read the exact visual source, let a child speak/sign/AAC/eye-gaze a visual plan, repeat it back for correction and record it as **PLAN ONLY**. This is idea-development evidence, not physical art production. Locally approved fixed broad tactile frames/marks are optional and never forced. The [offline composition board](digital/README.md) is another choice, not a prerequisite or a stored child record.

For physical making, an adult prepares clean large blunt paper/card and locally approved dry drawing tools. Adult controls scissors and any cutting, glue, small detachable pieces, material hygiene, allergies, stable surfaces, storage and movement. Ten large pieces may be fixed to an adult-handled board or represented as drawn marks; no child has to manipulate ten pieces. The math teacher gathers quantity evidence separately. Do not infer visual-art skill from independent counting, and do not infer math skill from an adult-supplied set.

For an actual shared page, ask both willing makers before placing or moving marks. A child can say **no**, **not now** or choose solo work without a penalty on the Visual Arts goal. Follow the school's safeguarding and permission routines; a fictional puppet reply is not evidence of real behaviour. Record each actual maker, each contribution, any adult handling and whether real agreement occurred. If none did, keep **fictional plan** or **solo work**, not “collaborative art.” Do not treat the shared page as a task about giving up a child's personal tool or possession.

All printed art examples are original simple geometry and labelled fiction. The [eight print aids](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md) are visual PDFs, **not tagged PDFs**; use exact linear text or a locally checked assistive format for screen-reader access. Do not upload child work, voice, photograph, family circumstances, disability details, class findings or completed records to the public repo. School policy controls any real display, photograph or approved family communication.

Keep held Checks S/T out of learner view until their designated days. The teacher may supply/verify all ten broad marks for Check S; the **art** decision is the child's arrangement/scale/orientation and reason. Do not require any one cultural meaning, colour, pattern, neatness or drawing motor action. Let a child pass on tactile media or real sharing while offering the same art goal by description and direction.
