# SubjectNest · Foundation / Queensland Prep Visual Arts · Term 2 Weeks 11–12

**Days 51–60 · ten original 25-minute sessions · author desk draft, not classroom piloted.** Week 11 asks how a supplied set of broad marks can become different *whole images* through scale, direction and placement. Week 12 asks how two willing makers might compose a shared page while preserving each person's authorship and choice. This extends Term 1's colour/cue work without turning art into the ten-count, equal-sharing or HPE assessment.

## Run a day

1. Read the day's [timed script](LESSONS.md) and [three-route learner card](LEARNER-CARDS.md). The [20 worked context bridges](PRACTICE-SWAPS.md) help connect a new picture to a child's interests without claiming any context is real.
2. Choose an [A4 visual aid or exact no-print route](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md). Locally approved dry marks and adult-prepared large shapes are optional; [materials and evidence rules](MATERIALS.md) include a true no-material path. The [offline composition board](digital/README.md) is optional.
3. Use the fresh [learner checks S and T](STUDENT-CHECKS.md) on Days 55 and 60; keep the [separate key](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md) hidden until a first response. Record the child-selected visual choice, source status, actual maker/placer and any neutral support.
4. A real artwork response or actual willing audience needs the [authentic source/consent slot](AUTHENTIC-SOURCE-SLOT.md). Consult the [exact ACARA/QCAA crosswalk](CURRICULUM-CROSSWALK.md) and local Prep program before making a curriculum claim.

The integrated [Week 11](../../../term-2/week-11-ten-ways-to-see.md) and [mathematics](../../../mathematics/term-2/weeks-11-12/README.md) teach ten explicitly. The integrated [Week 12](../../../term-2/week-12-sharing-tools-and-space.md) handles equal sharing, respectful interaction and permission. This art pack may use an adult-supplied ten-mark source or rehearsal language, but it does not certify those other outcomes. A child who declines physical sharing can still complete the Visual Arts goal with a solo or fictional plan.

File/build/browser checks show an authored pack, not teaching effectiveness, accessibility for every child, actual collaboration or audience comprehension.
