# Optional offline reveal viewer

Open [My opening picture](index.html) locally. Choose an outside circle/wavy line and an inside curved path/square, then use **Show open/closed plan**. The proposed hinge edge is described in text. This viewer compares a screen plan; it does not calculate a physical folding motion, geometry, standing or real audience result. It embeds none of the held W/X sources or their solutions. A child can propose a different mark/hinge through the [exact spoken/paper/tactile route](../print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md).

Tab moves between labelled native selectors and buttons; arrow keys choose options and Space/Enter activates a button. The expanding inside panel has an explicit state/relationship; current choices and status have polite text announcements. Shape plus words carry meaning without colour. Child-directed adult operation is available; no screen, touch or vision is required to make the art decision.

No login, names, tracking, uploads, storage or network calls. All choices clear on reload/close. Keep sibling HTML/code/style files together. Only following the optional licence link opens an outside page. A recorded screen idea is distinct from a child-authored physical work.

## Author browser inspection

The [read-only check](qa_browser.cjs) exercised **1280, 390 and 320** pixel widths: all eight hinge/outside/inside choices in both closed and open states, exact text and shape classes, reveal/close, keyboard Tab/arrows/Space, mark bounds, horizontal overflow, reset and reload. No page error or outside request occurred. [Desktop](previews/desktop.png) and [mobile](previews/mobile.png) captures show an open comparison and were visually inspected. This author check is not assistive-technology or child testing.

From the project root, with Playwright and its Chromium browser installed and available to Node:

Use your installation’s supported environment settings if its libraries or browsers live elsewhere.

Default writes no pack file. Use `--capture` only to deliberately refresh the two previews. Installed local Playwright/Chromium performed this check; BrowserAct's inspected runtime had no configured browser, so no BrowserAct session or browser was created.
