# Actual encounter and local gates

Our original diagrams teach process planning. They do not provide a dated physical rubbing, community artwork encounter, local place visit, permission or actual audience response.

## Actual art encounter

A teacher can show their own actual completed classroom-card rubbing/collage with maker/date and describe why **that maker** chose it. Invite the child to describe visible marks and their own response, without demanding a positive feeling. An authorised outside work needs artist/title/date, primary source, school review, reproduction/display rights and accurate context. Never lift an online image or community pattern into a rubbing master. An original digital illustration is still a digital illustration; don't describe it as a physical print.

## Private school record only

- encounter date · actual work/source/artist · physical or digital form · rights/permission basis · exact content observed/described · child access/response/support · next move;
- actual clean master and maker · actual rubbing paper/tool and maker · exact marks that appeared · arranged/attached collage or plan status;
- optional real place: school-approved observation source/date/viewing boundary, verified visible features, private local contact/permission for any proposed action;
- optional display/postcard: child's choice, willing recipient/viewer, agreed private location/duration/attribution, exact interpretation if given, sharing actually occurred or `NOT OBSERVED`.

## Country/Place and community-held knowledge

Generic care art does not cover AC9HSFK04. Local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander knowledge holders decide whether and how particular Country/Place, language, story or art content may be taught, reproduced or displayed. School policy or a public copyright licence cannot replace that authority. Record authorised scope, context, attribution, review, restrictions and withdrawal arrangements **before** use. Invite a child's question, preserve it privately and seek an authorised opportunity; do not improvise a cultural answer or substitute generic symbols.

No public or cultural-object rubbing is part of this pack. Outside rights remain with their holders.
