# Year 10 supplementary · Term 1 Weeks 3–4

This optional companion has **50 distinct 12-minute activities**: ten each in [Science](SCIENCE.md), [HASS](HASS.md), [HPE](HPE.md), [Technologies](TECHNOLOGIES.md) and [Arts](ARTS.md). The [clean learner copy](LEARNER.md) provides **three switchable ways through every activity**. Use one subject card for a day or fit several into a timetable deliberately; five cards are not a single 12-minute lesson. The menu also has [ten fresh formative checks](ASSESSMENT.md), two per area, with a [public teacher-targeted key and next moves](TEACHER-KEY.md). Checks are fresh relative to practice, **not secure exams**; replace a prompt locally when prior access matters.

## Prepare a block

1. Choose one day/area in the staff menu. Its **0–2, 2–4, 4–10, 10–12** script gives source, learner action, evidence and a next move.
2. Give the matching [learner card](LEARNER.md) with A/B/C routes. Preserve the same evidence target while changing how the learner explores or communicates it. Record exact support and any content hint separately.
3. Use an original [inquiry, choice or creative A4 aid](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md), with PDF/SVG and full text/tactile routes. Technologies has an [offline interactive rule lab](interactive/rule-lab.html) and a complete [paper/text alternative](interactive/TEXT-ROUTE.md). Music has a quiet original [four-beat WAV](audio/quiet-four-beat.wav) and complete [silent score](audio/TEXT-ROUTE.md); neither tool is required.
4. After practice, use a fresh check only if it remains a new case for that learner. Treat the public key as planning support, not a protected answer source.

**Scope:** Science cards practise inquiry with constructed data and do not replace Year 10 Science knowledge teaching. HASS deliberately samples all four subjects; local school-authority choices apply. HPE movement, Arts performance and Design prototype claims depend on what was **actually** done, not paper plans. Fictional numbers do not establish real user, service, safety, environmental, financial or wellbeing outcomes. History's short real-source notes require fuller, trauma-aware local teaching. No First Nations cultural content or translation has been invented; such editions need authorised community/language review. Check state/territory syllabus implementation, accessibility, policy, source recency and safeguarding locally.
