# Year 11 Accounting · Queensland opening fortnight

Ten original, 25-minute sessions for the start of **Unit 1: Real-world accounting, Topic 1: Introduction to accounting**. The governing document is the [QCAA Accounting General senior syllabus 2025 v1.4](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/downloads/senior-qce/syllabuses/snr_accounting_25_syll.pdf), March 2026, printed p 12. Each day has a target, exact 2+4+5+7+4+3 timing, one of [three same-target routes](DAILY-CHOICES.md), two [worked optional swaps](DAILY-EXTRAS.md), [short spoken prompts](SPOKEN-PROMPTS.md), and an exit answer. Six original A4 visual aids come as SVG and searchable PDF with [exact text and tactile equivalents](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md). The [example bank](EXAMPLE-BANK.md) crosses services, trading, community and everyday decisions without asking learners to disclose household finances.

This is **250 minutes**, not a full 55-hour Unit 1 or Year 11 course. Topic 1 continues beyond this starter; Unit 1 Topic 2 (double entry, GST and software work) is not claimed. The two [fresh checks](STUDENT-CHECKS.md) are public, formative, teacher-adaptable tasks, **not QCAA school assessment instruments** and not secure tests. Schools choose actual unit instruments and report results under the syllabus. QCAA does not endorse this pack.
