# Font rights in generated aids

The original SVGs request **DejaVu Sans**; `rsvg-convert` embeds/subsets the locally installed DejaVu font in PDFs so learners can print or select text. The PDFs are **untagged**; use the supplied complete digital text alternative for reliable screen-reader reading order. The licence notice from the installed `fonts-dejavu-core` package is included as [dejavu-font-copyright.txt](dejavu-font-copyright.txt). Font rights are separate from the CC BY 4.0 licence on SubjectNest's original writing/diagrams. The SVGs include a generic sans-serif fallback if a system does not have DejaVu Sans. Verify PDF text extraction and legibility after any regeneration.
