# Font use

The original SVGs request system **DejaVu Sans**. `rsvg-convert` produced the searchable PDFs with an **embedded subset** of the installed font, verified with `pdffonts`. The [DejaVu/Bitstream Vera copyright and licence notice](dejavu-font-copyright.txt) accompanies those PDFs. No separate full font file is distributed. An SVG viewer may substitute another sans-serif typeface; the exact text alternative remains available.
