# Source, fact and rights ledger · Year 11 English Weeks 3–4

Checked **29 September 2026**. Primary syllabus source: [QCAA English General senior syllabus 2025 v1.3](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/downloads/senior-qce/syllabuses/snr_english_25_syll.pdf), January 2026, and its [current landing page](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/senior/senior-subjects/syllabuses/english/english). The official PDF was read through the web reader, including printed pp. 5–9 and 17–21. The page identifies 2025 v1.3 for students completing in 2026 or beyond. QCAA's [QCE Handbook §4.1](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/senior/certificates-and-qualifications/qce-qcia-handbook/4-qld-curriculum/4.1-syllabuses) independently describes unit timing and cohort transition. [QCAA copyright](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/copyright) governs the syllabus and its exceptions. A direct scripted download from this environment returned HTTP 403, so we **do not claim a locally pinned PDF byte hash**; the release verifier fail-closes on our declared URL, version, page references and local files, but cannot prove the remote PDF has not changed. Recheck the live page before future reuse.
