# Font and export rights

The generated PDF sheets embed subsetted **DejaVu Sans** and **DejaVu Sans Bold** from the local `fonts-dejavu-core` package; `pdffonts` is used in the verifier to check embedding. The SVG names DejaVu Sans as a preferred installed font and does not bundle a font file. DejaVu is third-party font software, not part of SubjectNest's CC BY 4.0 original-content grant. Its upstream information is [DejaVu Fonts](https://dejavu-fonts.github.io/); the installed package's complete copyright and permissive licence notice is included as [dejavu-font-copyright.txt](dejavu-font-copyright.txt). The notice must accompany distribution of font subsets where required. The generated original layouts and wording are SubjectNest CC BY 4.0. PDFs are selectable but not tagged; use the [full text alternative](TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md) for reading order and braille/large-print adaptation.
