# Year 11 Queensland General integrated inquiry · Term 1 Weeks 3–4

Ten **optional 35-minute** Days 11–20 bridge General English Unit 1 *Perspectives and texts* and General Mathematics Unit 1 Topic 1 *Consumer arithmetic*. A reader tests what an invented public line promises, calculates what its separate fictional desk note actually supports, then writes a useful correction with an explicit limit. Cases span exhibits, adult-work models, recreation, events, printing, a podcast fund and price cards. The ten [source pairs](SOURCE-CARDS.md) are original, age-respectful classroom inventions. This bridge connects skills with the separate [Year 11 English](../../../english/term-1/weeks-03-04/README.md) and [General Mathematics](../../../mathematics/term-1/weeks-03-04/README.md) packs without copying their cases or checks.

## Run one day

1. Read the specific [teacher script](LESSONS.md), [source pair](SOURCE-CARDS.md) and [daily worked result](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md). Every script totals **35 minutes** with a distinct example and an exit response.
2. Give the matching [learner card](LEARNER.md). Its **three switchable routes** carry the same source, model and bounded-revision target; optional extras and no-purchase home routes are separate.
3. Choose among four original [A4 SVG/PDF mats and complete text/tactile routes](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md): source claim, rate/base, budget window, and percent/period. Day 11 has an optional [offline whole-set lab](interactive/whole-set-lab.html) with a full [paper route](interactive/TEXT-ROUTE.md). A device is never required.
4. After Days 15 and 20, use the two [fresh formative source checks](STUDENT-CHECKS.md) only if new to that learner. The [teacher-targeted key](teacher/KEY-AND-NEXT.md) is **publicly accessible**. These checks are **not secure exams**; make a genuinely new local case if prior access matters. Record first response, access and content support separately, then choose the next subject lesson.

## Scope that matters in class

The [QCAA crosswalk](CURRICULUM-CROSSWALK.md) maps selected encounters to the **current official Queensland General English and General Mathematics 2025 v1.3 syllabuses**, checked 29 September 2026. Senior Queensland does not have national `AC9` Year 11 codes. These 350 optional minutes do **not** prescribe a school calendar, supply full Unit 1 study, replace subject contact hours, cover complete text-selection obligations, certify achievement or constitute a QCAA assessment instrument. **The school decides its unit sequencing, complete texts and Unit 1–2 instruments, and plans later summative instruments and reporting within QCAA requirements.** Use the school's current syllabus version and access arrangements. This is not a pack for Essential English, EAL, Essential Mathematics or Mathematical Methods without redesign.

All amounts, organisations and statements are fictional models. Day 18 assumes a fully taxable item to practise the [official ATO calculation](SOURCE-AND-RIGHTS.md); it does not classify an actual product. No student needs to disclose family income, identity, employment or spending. Response modes are choices, **not fixed learning-style labels**. A read-aloud supports access but does not alone show independent reading. No translation, First Nations cultural knowledge, real-world outcome, classroom trial or QCAA endorsement is claimed. [Source and rights](SOURCE-AND-RIGHTS.md), [desk review](RUN-THROUGH.md), [version snapshot](source-snapshot.json) and [hash receipt](MANIFEST.sha256) make the limits inspectable.

**Rebuild and check:** `python3 print/generate_print.py` regenerates the four SVG/PDF pairs. `python3 verify_pack.py --write-manifest` writes the SHA-256 receipt after review; `python3 verify_pack.py` audits it read-only along with source snapshot, counts, arithmetic, PDFs and links. Browser behaviour was separately exercised. The verifier cannot approve a Queensland school's plan or validate learning outcomes.
