# Font and print rights

The five original A4 SVG/PDF layouts use **DejaVu Sans**. PDF rendering may embed a font subset. DejaVu fonts have their own [licence](https://dejavu-fonts.github.io/License.html), derived from the Bitstream Vera licence with DejaVu additions; that font is **not relicensed** as SubjectNest artwork. The SVG text remains editable and the [full text/tactile routes](TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md) provide the teaching content without the font or image layout. Generator code carries Apache-2.0; the original teaching layouts carry [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
